Art Norby designed a sculpture that was installed Tuesday morning in Spicer's downtown park on Green Lake. The Spicer Beautification Committee commissioned the project using funds generated from last year's Fish Gone Wild artists' auction. A public dedication will be held at 6 p.m. June 3. Artist in residence Carol Gustafson of Grove City teaches an art class at the ACGC High School in Grove City a class in the Japanese art of shibori, which uses methods of binding, stitching, folding or compressing to create a pattern on cloth that is then dyed.

The display makes up a portion of the 4th annual Art Exhibit and Wine Tasting from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Melvin's on the Lake in Spicer.
