'Boeing Boeing': Comedy opens tonight at New London Little Theatre
NEW LONDON — The Little Theatre presents "Boeing Boeing" by Marc Camoletti at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday and June 28-30, with a 2 p.m. matinee on July 1.
The 1960's French farce features self-styled Parisian bachelor Bernard, played by Gaven Sietsema, who has Italian, German and American fiancees, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent "layovers."
He keeps "one up, one down and one pending," until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris, and Bernard's apartment, at the same time.
Ramee Jorschumb is playing the American air hostess, Laura Miller the Italian air hostess and Kayla Vanderpool the German air hostess.
Other cast members include Laurel Iverson playing Bernard's French housekeeper and Anton Switajewski playing a friend of Bernard's visiting from the U.S.
The play is directed by Matt Hegdahl. The set was designed by Maria Novack.
Eric Harp is the light and sound technician, Ginny Lief is the costumer and hair and makeup design is by Paige Bajari.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for ages 12 and under with a family rate of $40. Tickets are available at Giving Tree Children's Boutique in New London, Whitney Music in Willmar and at the door, cash or check only; or reservations online at newlondonlittletheatre.com/tickets.
