The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Inurnment will be private.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls.
She was born Nov. 12, 1912, in Darlington, Mo., to Luke and Maudie (Childers) Ogle. She was raised on a farm in St. Clair County, Mo., and graduated with a four-year teaching degree from the University of Missouri. She taught in various schools in Missouri. In 1953, she taught at an Army school in Germany. She moved to Redwood Falls in 1961 and was an elementary school teacher until her retirement in 1978. Following her retirement, she worked part time in the Spinning Wheel fabric store and the Main Street Cotton Shop.
She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church where she served on various committees and taught confirmation class and vacation Bible School. She was still teaching classes in quilting and other arts into the middle of her 90th decade.
She is survived by relatives. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
