This article should be a big wake up call for all citizens in the upper midwest. The so called "greenies" out there have thwarted the expansion of a power plant that is VITAL, repeat, VITAL for the survival of businesses, homes and our way of life. It is critical that this decision to not allow the expansion of coal fired plants or building of neuclear powered energy plants in the State of Minnesota be reversed. With an ever growing population, how in the world are we expected to survive? You can only conserve so much, but when it gets cold, and there isn't the energy available, what happens? There are more of us who use and pay for the energy we require, and as such, we demand that our legislators stop this assault on progress by these environmental groups. Electricity should not be a major expense as it has become in anyones budget. With an abundance of energy, it can be available at a more reasonable rate for everyone. Is it that that makes too much sense?
