What makes the 5 (mayor & 4 council members) far-left, liberal-minded?? I consider myself pretty liberal & I don't see anything liberal about their position or this development. I think the more liberal-minded attitude would be to refurbish existing homes & help the newcomers assimilate into the community.

Werner I think you have said enough. This is a topic that is important to many and your comments have nothing to do with it. Please stop.

Werner-You just prove not all men have brains by your statements and misspellings (than not then). Since my husband- a male- didn't understand your disgusting analogy either, it must be because our minds and hearts aren't perverted like yours. Since you don't have the decency to carry on a civil and pertinent discussion, I choose to ignore your comments.

Ben-SWMHP's lease to own home development proposal included twin homes, single family dwellings for some homeless and low-income people. Other than the structure (trailer homes versus twin homes), this development would be congregating low-income families such as the former Elm Lane. What is the point of your question?

It is interesting that when I do a search of "congregate developments" it shows mostly apartments and many are for low income elderly people. Wasn't this plan to be about twin homes and single family houses?

It's to bad that we have such far left liberal minded people with no common sense on the council!! The 'Anit-Willmar five' need to admit that they are doing the city wrong and Steven T. needs to start representing his ward.

Steve G-My understanding of the word is defined by Webster's New World Dictionary of the American Language/College Edition, which is "to gather into a mass or crowd; collect; assemble."
