Your point is actually felt by many, Greg. It'd be nice for the lower-middle-class to get some help once in awhile.

So let me get this right. The only house I can afford (and by afford, I mean that I can pay all my bills and my mortgage) is a fifty year old house that I am going to have to do a lot of interior work in. I have lived here in the United States my entire life, paid my taxes, worked for everything I have, worked very hard for 5 years to get out of debt, and never complained because I know how lucky I am. Meanwhile, the noted minorities in the proposal are getting a $250,000+ house for a third of the cost. Does that seem unfair to anyone but me? I am the one who should be complaining about racism.

Brian M....I know for a fact that Ron C. doesn't stand for Ron Christianson...let's stick to the facts...the SWMHP didn't meet the 7 criteria of the zoning appeals board..

Geez, thanks for the clarification, Dan (!!). Get over yourself, I could have just gone on thinking that they were Christianson's instead of asking. Seems to be the thing to do around here. (thanks Jared, for nicely stating it).

By all means no Migel S. You and your family are very welcome in Willmar. Are you paranoid? Why are you worried that someone in Willmar would worry about you ruining Willmar, unless you have something to hide.

Dan J. Would you care to share with all the people making comments on this issue what the missing information was that SWMNHP didn't provide? They complied to the letter to the current process the city requires for a CUP. Go down to city hall and look at the files and tell me what was missing. The problem is not so much SWMNHP as it is the city of Willmar not updating their comprehensive plan since 1989 and the CUP application and process requirements. You continue to spew half truths and lies (re Shelter House). Get your facts straight before commenting, please.

I sure hope that Ron "C" doesn't stand for Ron Christianson

Ron, I have a very nice house here in New London Township. I might have some family that would be interested. Are you worried I might ruin your city.
