Larry: I believe you don't even have any idea what trickle down means. ( I do not rely on trickle down ) And ya sure , you weren't talking about money- ( I rely on work. Something you should try maybe instead of standing by the mailbox.) you were talking about spending your dime again. We all know you are the only one that works around here.

Craig, unless your head's been in the sand these past 6 months or so, you know Michele has turned around marvelously regarding fiscal responsibility. You may also know that she was not in national office prior to '06 when most of the directions you're referring to were chosen. She certainly did have a dismal start to her freshman term, but was one of those who came around quickly, once the clarity developed regarding who really has been minding the store in DC- the international bankers called all of the bailout shots and still are, and that was an awakening for her. I've never voted for a Bush in my life, you can count on that. Nor an Obama. But I will strongly support Bachmann's '10 win along with the majority of CD6 voters, as long as she continues to stand firm against the Bush/Obama spending spree, directed from wall street; as long as she holds firm in obstructing to the best of her abilities any and all of the usurpation of our constitutional founding principles which is what this nonsense is today. So far Obama has yet to mention dismantling DHS, failed to mention a repeal of the Patriot act. A pretty good indicator he's more interested in wielding these new powers than dismantling them. What's the difference between a neocon and a neolib? Very damned little difference. A lot of good people in CD6, the Paul congressional district in Mn, have worked very hard to succeed in turning Michele around on these very important principles, and if you think for even a moment voters here are going to toss her out having accomplished that, in favor of something resembling the inner-metro Dems, you really are kidding yourselves. That would be a return to square one, worse than Bachmann prior to her recent constitutional conversion, when it comes to fiscal restraint. Though it goes without saying the emphasis now is to open her eyes to the need to dial down the partisan hackery and focus some of that energy towards real statesmanship. I do realize there are many here, too partisan as well themselves to see anything clearly, who simply want her to fail in this regardless of the fact that the country needs more brakes on its present insanity, not less- and it will have them in 2010, watch and see.

For those who actually believe CD6 will vote Bachmann out of office in '10, all I can say is your grip on the realities of off-presidential year elections is tenuous at best. You can consider another term for Bachmann pretty much a done deal already. Then reapportionment/redistricting will kick in, with a real possibility that MN may lose 1 congressional district and have 7. That's when things will get interesting. While Michele certainly has shot her mouth off without thinking, her voting record these past 6 months, which is what really counts in a pinch, is on a sharp upswing. That cannot be said for any MN Dem in national office outside of possibly Colin Peterson. Its not a Dem/Rep thing, as others have stated, its all about a big authoritarian govt bankrupting itself vs. a small limited govt strong in its defense of liberty and our founding principles, most importantly sustainable into the future without bankrupting our posterity.

Get some sleep Mike then maybe you can add something more constructive! The basement can be a lonely place to hide in Mike, which is something you do very well!

Well folks....Timothy McVeigh was a white man - and he killed many innocent US citizens - including women and children. He was a christian - or at least he was raised a christian....he may have become an atheist? I forget, but it doesn't matter. Anyway......I guess that means that we must now mistrust EVERY white man....afterall, based on what McVeigh did, men must not like women and children very much, so we should think only negative things about white men and never ever trust them - especially if they are not christian (although being lutheran may be just as bad as not being a christian)

If we wre to have a president that was Muslim, so what? One of the things this country was founded on was 'freedom of religion', so being a christian is not a prerequisite to being elected president. If it weren't for 9/11, most people liley wouldn't even associate muslim with anything negative...and the fact that there are those that do simply reveals how narrow-minded some people are. Christians have done horrible things too - many claim they do it in his name - so why the fuss over some paper that lists Obama as being Muslim...could have been a typo - could have been that he WAS muslim but switched to Catholic - afterall, he was attending a Catholic school. Why would they teach Muslim at a Catholic school?

Rick if there was an intruder and he tried to get out when you spotted him, and you shoot him trying to run away, you could be charged especially if you shoot him in the back. That came from a prosecutor. One thing you have to make sure is that the intruder is in the house when you shoot him. The Chicago style version is drag the intruder back into the house after you shoot him leaving the house.
