Ann sounds like Sue. If this was brought to the US 'on purpose', why are there more deaths in Mexico? Let me guess...they got sick on purpose, intending to bring the virus to the US, but got so sick they decided to stay home? Usually those who make unbelievable statements are simply trying to cover up something - trying to make sure the blame isn't put on them. Anyone know where Michelle B ahs been lately? How abotu you Ann....taken any trips to Mexico lately? Am I sounding ridiculous yet?

I think that this so called "swine flu" was brought in on purpose. What a better way to get it here than through Mexico. There are hundreds of them crossing the border illegally every day! If the good old USA would close all there borders for a while that it would disappear. Not only the Mexican border but all Borders. That would also solve a lot of our problems. There a so many countries that hate the United States what a better way to kill us all and no one would ever know who did it. Ann

Thank you Renee B.....Erica, what about when you're in a store and a sneeze comes on, you sneeze, blow your nose with the tissue that was wadded in your pocket, put it back in your pocket, and go about your business. No hand washing. Is a teacher going to excuse every child that sneezes, blows their nose or touches their mouth, every time it is done? No, they would have to spend their whole school day at the sinks. And yes, fifty years ago homes were put into quarantine. Awhile back, I had read an essay from a woman talking about when she was young and had an illness that I believe was measles or mumps and her father hadn't had the illness. Her home was sealed off and her father had to live on the porch with no contact with his wife and daughter until the illness was over. She wrote about at the end of her illness, her father had bought ice cream cones, climbed a ladder up to her window and quickly handed her the ice cream cone thru the window.... That was when the publics health took top priority over maybe making somebody feel different. Hong Kong has quarantined a whole hotel because there was one sick person that had been at it. Enough with the, it might make somebody feel bad and get back to, let's keep peoples health a priority.

Casey, you sound like you've had one too many cups of coffee this morning and need to chill out. Anyone can get this. We just all need to take precautions to protect ourselves and others. And with your comment about how "fifty years ago people would have been kept away", come on, do you really think they can do that now? The CDC asks that you stay home if you are ill. People try that and they get introuble at work, school..... If everyone would take the time to wash their hands after blowing their nose, coughing, sneezing and going to the bathroom, we wouldn't have so many problems.
