Harold your obsession with Obama is at historic levels. I have never met someone with so much hatred and contempt for a president as you have. Your reasons are all misguided political hog wash and more then half of what you are spewing is false and misleading, which was what the whole Republican campaign was about and you know it. The Republicans were hoping to used the pregnancy of Palins daughter to draw the Democrats into the arena, hoping it would muster even more support for the Republicans. Harold, it back fired, and Obama steered clear of this form of low level tactics. Also Harold my mail box was full of Republican propaganda that stated our guns would be taken, we would lose our freedom, and Obama would promote socialism. The internet was even worst with statements and pictures that were unAmerican and full of lies, yet you and others ran with it. Harold your disgraceful, and misleading attacks on Obama have showed me and many others that everything you and those on the far right predicted, never came about, and you are acting more like a dictators aid who promotes falsehoods to drive home your parties point. Larry there is no comparison when we talk of speeches by a president. Obama has it, Bush didn't, but he did drive home is point in a different manner. Larry when will you stop listening to Rush, and use your own though process, which includes throwing away your walking cane, and getting rid of the Republican seeing eye dog, you might wake up to some real realities, and not falsehoods.

Personally I like Palin, she's a good governor. I believe she is posturing for a US Senate bid against Linda Murkowski. Six years or more in the Senate will give Sarah the national exposure to politics she needs for a run for the Presidency down the line. Go Sarah.

The reality is that when people are in positions of power, as Sarah Palin and George W. Bush have been, they are required to make decisions that will not make everyone happy. Let's wait for our judgement of anyone until our current President is faced with a decision that requires immediate decision-making, not scripted or teleprompted.

OK, Carie L.and others , let us do to you the same smears the people have done to Governor Palin. Lets start by creating the rumor you have been siphoning funds from the company you work for. Lets start the rumor your wife/husband has been running around with other men/women. Next we will go after your children(if you have any) of their alleged baseball game 7th inning stretch promiscuity - especially your 12 year old daugther. Next your son has impregnated a 14 year old. Next you will need to employ a lawyer who will be in court to answer all charges( be sure to be able to cover about $100,000 to $200,000 grand for starters). You will be answering all kinds of phone calls from friends( that is if you have any left when the rumors get circulating good) plus you will be required to provide all opportunities requiring time off to be making depositions. Don't you think you would be sick of the false accusations and rumors and you have to defend your innocence of both yourself and your family? If the practice is to demonize anyone who in your mind is not in agreement with you, will only reflect to the lack of scruples, principles and morals you have. Join Steve P, in his comparison of his grandmother who has Alzheimers, people like that deserve each other. Sorry about the rant but I get sick of this backbiting and demonizing - remember she is a Governor until the 26th and most people here are anonymous posters who will never feel any repercussion and hide behind the tree. Not one person has found reason or fault for any of her policies - the standard answer is "she's ignorant" shows the poster's ignorance is only greater.

Terry D, I listened to her speech. The whole thing. Reminded me of sitting with my mother, who has stage 3 Alzheimer's. Rambling, incoherant. The basketball analogies, the dead fish.....what? And what about all of you bible-heads, with her using the phrase "Hell, yeah!"? She has no national candidate potential. Zero.

Marilyn G I agree with you when you stated the money should have went to us, I can't argue with that, one bit! Obama gave in to the right who did complain about giving the stimulus directly to us, they didn't want a stimulus period. We could have all received 300 thousand and the money would have to pay off bills such as homes, or autos, or could be used for home improvements. Terry its funny how the auto makers and banks still wanted government bailout, and Obama told them you that why is it when you don't have confidence in my decisions, would you want the government to give you money" Well said if you ask me, so Terry where ever you are getting your argument from, its far fetched. The banks and automakers came to Bush then Obama, they didn't come to them, something you should remember before firing off the far right rubbish. Some of the banks returned 68 billion dollars to the government, something you forgot to mention in your far right speech! Do you think its only liberals who are complaining about our health care? You are badly mistaken there as well Terry, because a hand full of far right on this site have strong opinions doesn't mean it constitutes the feelings of the general public. Some conservatives have businesses or are making good money as well as liberals, which is fine, but don't make your assumptions based you, or your buddies situation. No one is losing their freedoms it all boils don't to bad management and the upper executives giving themselves huge pay increases even when they borrowed from the government so what is your point Terry? Your getting as bad as Larry!

Marilyn - Bush didn't leave this great country in the best of shape when he left. You make it seem like Obama and the rest of the Democrats have ruined this country since he took over. We've had issues that last few years of Bush's administration. Also you mention, about the bailouts "if they had given it to the people everyone in the U .S. could have received $100,000." So Marilyn do the math, how much would we have gotten from the 87 BILLION that has been spent on Bush's war?
