Do you suppose there'd be a Republican stampede to the stands to buy the issue? ;)

Those are my options, Larry? It's either Sarah or Hilary?? Those are the female role models I get to choose from?? Sad pickings, all around, if you ask me. Seriously, man - don't insult my intelligence. The political arena may be lacking in equal female representation - but that does not mean that I am so simple as to think Sarah and Hilary are my only options... or my only potential options. Or that it's smarter to "pick the pretty one"...

Yes, Larry - I fear her... you're right about that. But it sure isn't because I wish to emulate her. Not even close. Come on, man - really? You're a Palin fan?? You know - despite your conservative core, I was really hoping you wouldn't be tossing around those Palin pom-poms... ;)

Now what on earth does my Thanksgiving dinner have to do with Palin's embarassing moment? I know exactly where the dinner comes from - I grew up just a few blocks from old plant #1, JOT-S. I also know better than to set up a cutesy press event to parden my dinner, only to slaughter it in front of the camera a few minutes later. ...especially if I desire to be taken seriously...

Common sense is what drove Governor Palin to conduct a press event, centered around the traditional, albeit cheesy, "pardon the turkey" routine... and answer follow up questions with the turkeys being slaughtered in the background? Impressive...

Carie wrote " in no way, shape, or form, does she possess the gumption, intelligence, experience, presence, believability, and general ability to successfully navigate the requirements of the job." But for the use of the word 'she', I could have SWORN Obama was being described.

Diane I am with you there is something going on that might be on the verge of becoming public. After all McCain.s camp was not happy with her spending spree, and the state was not happy with the fact she was taking her children with her to work related meetings on the tax payers dime. We also seen what her husband was capable of doing to his enemies, and how he pretty much controlled Palin by pulling her strings as governor. My opinion is she should not resign and she should run again to strengthen her political agenda.

Hmmmmm? Perhaps the GOP is setting us up for a Palin-Bachmann ticket in 2012. And you people think Franken going to Washington is a sad state of affairs. Palin doesn't have a clue!
