It has been said that they would have held soccer here, in Minnesota. You don't think the olympics bring money? Wow. Yep that's why downtown Mpls wants the metro dome gone, because it doesn't bring them any money, just expense....

Casey your clueless. The majority of the people in Chicago didn't want it, only the mob run city council. The fed would have had to pump in "billions" to set it up (our tax billions) and only a few rich guys (you know - those people you libs hate so much) would have made out. Ask the people in Atlanta how rich they got off the olimpics. Exactly what "billions" would Minnesota have gotten? Maybe as in the same new math O.B. uses for the "billions" we'll save on medicare fraud? It is not "gloating" to be glad we averted another "tax money con game pit".

Yes, that is how I picture the rights, especially when they are gloating that the US didn't get the olympics which would have brought billions of dollars to us including Minnesota. The rights are acting like a bunch of slobs that act like our country is a sports match instead of our home.
