This forum today is reminding me of all those school sporting events, where the parents berate the opposing team (of children) and the coaches and the other team's parents... and get themselves thrown out for poor sportsmanship, after putting that example out there for their own children to learn from. ...Because, it seems, no one knows how to be gracious anymore. I mean, really - come on - this award is, really, about global relationships. The fact that the world is optomistic about President Obama, and consequently, the United States, is a bad thing??

Oh, and our wonderful conservative amish who excommunicate their daughters when they fight to be protected from the brothers who rape them. Oh the amish. May they find a place in heaven too.

Come on people... Just be happy. I once had a customer here in Willmar that would come in to my store and was unhappy every single time. I allowed her to make me unhappy one day and the encounter was very unproductive. The next time she walked in that was no change in her attitude. I treated her so well and by the end of the encounter... she was smiling! I had never seen her smile before. All I am saying is... Let's be happy for our President. Do we really want to be known as the nation that hates our President? If he didn't deserve this award then that is someone else's problem. If someone recieves an award they may have not deserved do we really want to ridicule the person who had nothing to do with the decision or the judges that voted?
