The United States improved global approval is a joke? I do agree it's a bit soon into his Presidency, but I also understand why the committee wants to reward to ambition and the goals that Obama has set. The civil unrest here, in this country, is apparently not reflective of the world's view of our President. The general disaproval of this country, and it's leadership, under Bush should have been a concern to us (and it was, to some of us) - our global relationships are essential. If Obama can improve upon those global relationships, that should not be viewed as a bad thing.

What did you expect...They gave one of these to Al Gore....Since then my opinion on this prize is a joke to people like Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa who dedicated the lives to and for the greater good...Not 8 months not a few years.

I want to know what he actually did to get this award..Seems to me that they will give this prize to all except those who really deserve it..
