Not sure he deserved it or not, I am not familiar with the criteria this board uses. But knowing what I do know this award now has little prestige in my opinion. What a shame to those who have actually done something in the past to deserve this award. I guess I can now go out to walmart, buy one, put my name on it and display it as prouldly as he will.

What a slam to all the previous Peace Prize winners who actually earned it. Wonder how proud those voters will be of their "selection" in a year or two.

Addison-I have probably made at total of 30 comments on this entire message board-all topics included. If you can quote me exactly where I abused/insulted/namecalled you I'll apologize.

Addison and Debbie you maybe should take a step back and actually read what Mike C wrote. He was not going after Addison, nor was he acting like a "hysterical Libber" he was merely trying to speak some calm reason into this often hostile discussion. Many have been on here for several years expressing concern with how disagreements seem to move to hate and disrespect. It happened with President Bush and now with President Obama. Have we become a society that is intolerant of differing views? Seriously, some of the comments on here are scary, and I have to agree that we are setting horrible examples for future generations if we can't show them that we all can disagree without turning so hostile and negative.

Addison I am sorry I meant no disrespect at all, I was simply trying to explain my point to you.

Nah, Ted. America is still trying to get over the last 8 year nightmare. The jury is still out on Obama at this point - just as it was on Bush a year in.

Debbie I am not saying that Addison is name calling I was responding to her comment to my previous post. I think if you look back on this thread you will find plenty of examples of name calling and insults. I am also talking to both sides on this, so please don't assume that I am for one or the other.

BHO PORTRAY'S AMERICA AS WEAK AND IS MAKING EVERY EFFORT TO MAKE SURE IT STICKS. Misery loves company and I think all the miserable places in the world that adore him are welcoming the change. What did that do for americans? Weakened our currency, makes us and our allies more vunerable and makes our paychecks smaller. I want everyone to wake up from the nightmare this fool is plotting.

Addison yes parenting 101 is all about setting an example and I would certainly hope that you don't send your child to school, church, the playground with the attitude that if you don't like another child just stand on the side and shout insults and name call them.
