People have a difficult time giving Obama credit for anything..they (the committee) praised his work in improving our image in the world ... which he has done. It would seem the committee likes the direction he is taking the U.S.as opposed to his predecessor.

Seriously this story is worth making these types of comments on? Geez congratulate the President for winning an award and leave it at that. Even our own Governor says this is the right thing to do. The fact that people are fighting over this is a sad testimony for us as a society. This is the example of how to live together that we want our kids to see?

Brian, yes I have not read all the posts on here or just yours alone. There are quite a few posts on since there are over 140 now. I'm sorry if you took my previous comment as to saying that you were belittling anyone. I was merely just trying to say that that is what appears to go on here everyday in the comments section. Now I wish you and everyone else a good day as I am going to do other things.

The comparisons of Obama to Hitler are tired... and inappropriate. I simply reiterated what the Norwegian committee expressed. Casey provided a link - there's a link on that page to the committee's statement... you can review it for yourself.

Brian, I posted earlier before I had to leave for a while and do productive things, and now I am on here during lunch making my last post for the day as I have better things to do than complain or belittle others.

Wow, over 130 posts to this article even before noon. How about we spend the rest of the day doing something productive? How about we make it our goal to make a few people smile today? Let us spread happiness and joy and forget about hate and blame. Enjoy the day elsewhere because you don't live forever.
