School officials contacted Child Protective Services and police after noticing the bite marks............ Does that mean he had more than one bite or is it referring to one set of teeth marks?

The least he could have done was bite the kid back on a finger or something- at 5 years old, the kid most likely knows biting is NOT ok. But to get bit on the face is pretty harsh and stupid.

Now how exactly is biting considered nonabusive in this mothers eyes?? They both should know better!!!
