Thanks, Jon - I SOOOO needed that laugh today!! And, for the record, I wholeheartedly agree with you... the moon has been asking for it, for practically ever! However, you may want to be careful about how loudly you voice this opinion - I'm pretty sure the moom voted democrat... and you know Obama will shut you down in short order for dissing it! ;)

The moon has been asking for it for years. Just floating there, smugly orbiting us in contempt. And what has the moon done for us? Besides controlling the tides and serving as the muse for thousands of cultural creation myths, NADA! I'd like to see the moon's budget. I can assure you that it's been freeloading for years. And where are it's papers? I suspect that this heavenly body might not even have the proper documentation to be in our solar system! It's time that we, the American Planet, stop allowing this rouge oblate spheroid to freely circle our world in clear mockery of our values! Down with the moon! Up with sovereign planet values! And bomb the heck out of that radical lupine altar before our kids have to bow their heads in forced worship to it!
