Do you mean, what it's like after dark, or, what you imagine it's like after dark?

Willmar has a completely viable downtown and many quality employers. Here's a short list: Rice Hospital, Hardware Hank, Rick's Schwinn, Engan & Associates, the Library, Bethel Church, The Barn Theater (people go there after dark all the time), Freida's, the Courthouse, Rosita's, the list goes on and on. In fact, Downtown Willmar is one of the last bastions of locally owned businesses surrounded by a semi-functional multi-use space. Expanding that use to local growers and artisans will only strengthen personal & community bonds, not to mention the local economy. Being afraid of Downtown Willmar is just plain silly.

i agree, this is wishful thinking for sure. Taking a big risk walking down there after dark. Heck, during the day is no treat. It woudl take a ton of money and where is it going to come from. H%&l, a nice coffee shop just closed down there............. Why don't the city put there efforts on attracting more Quality employers first........
