So essentially she walked. The sentence was stayed (no time in the slammer) and ordered to pay restitution (like that is going to happen). She leaves Willmar, takes on another identity, and the County is out 68K and the court costs. What a system.

Even if "a friend" is living there. Don't they have to include the their wages as "total household" income?

$68,000 in restitution...I'm sure they've got that much just layin' around ready to pay it back....can't squeeze blood from a turnip!

Can they get back on assistance after ripping the taxpayers off? This makes me so mad that they can get away so long without anyone finding out. Where are the checks and balances?

Charges for identity theft? Obviously they both had two sets of ID to pull this off. Or does the county not require Id to obtain 68000 worth of assistance?
