bob d......too bad you don't have the brains to see sarcasim. So if you aren't in it for the money.......why don't you give all your stuff away to charity or those that can't afford health care? You sit on here and bash people day in and day out......but you offer nothing but crying and complaining.......grow up or shut up.........Frankly, I wouldn't expect someone like you to vote for someone like me for the reason that I would make you get out from behind your computer and actually work.....but your party doesn't even know what that word means anymore. I have too many important things to do so have fun sitting in front of your computer complaining about how no one will give you everything you need, while you just sit on your butttt all day long bashing others. But tell me, if this is the Reps fault and that these are really such a "great" bills.........why can't you even get your own majority to vote for this thing??????.........Ohhhh thats right, its because of the scare tactics....or could it because some in your party actually have the brains enough to figure out that this thing will be a disaster. So don't worry bobby...I won't be running in your district so you don't have to worry about not voting for me. Enjoy the afternoon in front of your computer...................

Just face it, people are now lazy and want everything given to them. Every time I hear that "rich people" line....I automatically put that person in the cry baby lazy catigory........real workers with a never die attitude don't use that line. Yep, my goal is to make money........period.......I am a greedy rich(wanna be) white person. My goal is to make as much money as I can....period.....because that is the goal of every living person....even those that complain about it.......they are just too dumb to realize it. When I have my millions......I will give to those that need.........that's what america is all about. So keep crying about the "those awful rich people".....you know, the ones that took a chance with their money and now pay your bills.........unbelievable......

good one Larry, 89% like what they have now but over 75% support health care reform... makes a lot of sense. Could it be that most people are reasonable thinkers and realize that at any time, they could be without the plan they currently have through layoffs? Could it be they realize that they could suddenly be diagnosed with serious illness and their insurance company could drop them? And, could it be that they realize that we are paying too much already and think something needs to change? Finally, could it be they realize that if they ever want to start their own business, the reality of today is they probably could not afford to insure their employees while starting out? Just a guess Larry but I think enough people out there can actually think for themselves and don't rely on Rush to tell them how to think about the issue. They actually think about all possibilities and down the road instead of just thinking about today and their own pocketbook. Most think it's one of the basic rights of this country to have access to quality care as a citizen. Again, I'm just spit balling here since I'm not listening to someone on the radio or tv tell me how to think.

Craig H.........so that's why we have this new bill that will cover everyone??? Oh, wait...it still doesn't cover millions. Is that why my costs won't go up with the new bill???.......OH, wait......my cost will go up even more.....but that's why I can't seem to get a defender of the bills to step forward and pay my increases in insurance under the new bill........all talk..........that's all it is....all talk. Who cares about the millions without insurance for the next 4-5 years while we wait for the next presidential election to come and go......ooops, did I say that, I meant to say, while we wait for this front loaded bill to get enough money to pay for a few years of insurance....ooops, did I say that...I meant while we wait 4-5 years for global warming to wipe us out.......are we starting to get the picture???? For you supporters, don't tell me you are doing this for the poor people without insurance.......if this was your reason, then you would provide them insurance the moment the bill is signed........I'm on to you on this one..........nice try though.............

What IS the administrative cost of government run insurance? Don't forget to include the cost of those govn't pensions - ya know- the defined benefit plans that pay the retirees more that they were earning while they worked. As for the lobbists - well, if the govn't would get it's nose out of everything it shouldn't be in including insurance and medical care, the lobbists wouldn't have anything to lobby for now would they? I don't mind insurance companies making a profit - it's called CAPITALISM. Capitalism IS the American way. Government run anything is a manopoly and if anyone else tries that they are thrown in jail. They also go to jail for running Ponzi schemes. They really should let Madoff out of jail - after all he was just copying the Social Security system.

And the 30% in administrative costs, the millions spent each year on lobbying, and the need to increase dividends to shareholders has nothing to do with it at all. Nor does the extra costs hospitals charge to cover the uninsured right? To say it's mainly due to unnecessary tests is an over simplification. Profits are good, every company wants and needs them but you don't think there is something fundamentally wrong with profits at the expense of legitimate treatment? At the expense of a person's health? You don't think that costs might be controlled of everyone was insured? You think that a 400% jump in costs is ok? On a side note, make sure you tune to Fox, as this clip shows that they're the only legitimate source of news out there. http://video.ap.org/?f=FCCND&PID=mlcosjiBDtyVWcn1EzmzVZz10O1bNIwp

Thanks for the explaination Brian. Sorry If I misunderstood what you were saying. You are absolutely correct in your analysis. I've stated before that everybody should have to pay for the little things and have major medical insurance to cover the expensive things. That's the way it used to be and it worked really well until some people got the stupid idea that medical insurance should pay for everything.
