Well John, if you are offering your oppinion on the topic and not just on here to distract from the solutions others have to offer then I wasn't talking to you directly! I am however talking to those who offer no solutions. I think that bashing the thoughts of others is rediculious and small minded! Just because someone doesn't agree with another does not give them the right to ridicule. I think any solution to a problem deserves to be looked at and concidered! I will look at yours when I can find them in the 20 or more pages on here!

Denise S: Well said. If they know so much what on earth are the "ditto heads" doing spending their entire day online? They certainly are not solving the worlds problems. It seems all they do is get laughed at. I tune in a couple of times per day just for a laugh or two. The scarey part is some of these clowns actually believe the tripe they spew.

Maybe if some of you "Holier-than-thou" people came up with real solutions instead of complaining about the situation on here, we would get somewhere! Then again maybe not! Spend half the time you spend on here complaining, fixing things. Good grief! If all you have to offer is insults and complaints...YOU are the problem with America today! If your ideas are so awsome compaired to those out there, do something with them!! Otherwise get over youself and shut up!

Ian, they'll never admit to anything positive when it comes to the opposition. They're playing politics pure and simple. Their entire political philosophy consists of "Republican good, everyone else bad" and there is no reasoning with people like that.

Ian S......well I am going to ask you a question......If I borrow a million dollars from the bank......things are pretty good for awhile, but what happens when i have to pay it back? yeah, maybe things are looking good right now, but we still owe a gazillion dollars and have not created any long lasting jobs....yeah, the roads may be improved and people have jobs while working on the road, but what happens when the project is over? We have a road, but that worker is still without a job. Don't get sucked in by everything you read or hear, we borrowed a $%#@$^ load of money that can never be paid back.....regardless of the party in control, I hardly call that a turn around.

Will anyone admit that the stimulus has helped in our road to financial recovery? I keep hearing these comments about reckless spending, but do you honestly believe that this has not helped the economy at all? Is it all dumb luck that things are starting to turn around now? I am not saying that we are out of the woods, and that we will not have to pay for this. I I am saying that we do not know the full extent of what would have happened if the government had not stepped in. Truly ask yourself what would have happened. You think the dollar is worthless now? Can you imagine if all of the companies would have had failed? And all the companies that they owned or had their fingers in?

How is milk sold? Same principle? I am guessing not, but am not sure. It isn't long after you hear about a drop in demand, do you see prices at the store reflect that. I know that is not apples to apples, but same principle (to me anyway). When you hear about crude oil prices going down, you can still see gas prices go up. IF the prices go down, it usually takes a week or two to see the prices reflect that. If oil prices go up, the cost at the pump goes up the minute it is announced (it seems like). I am saying that the store owner paid X for the fuel that is in his tanks. So it should be sold for X + profit, until the next shipment arrives and the cost would go up then correct?

Ian - I agree with you 10:19 post. However, from what I understand the reason they do that is because they cover the cost of replacing what is being sold.
