Roger - GREAT LETTER!!! Janet - another great post! Dan said ". It's not easy to want to help others. All of us are naturally turned in on self." That is exactly the way liberals are. They don't really want to help anyone unless someone else is paying for it but they want the credit because they know in their hearts that they SHOULD WANT to help others. Conservatives, on the other hand, find it very EASY to help others. It certainly isn't because they have more it's just in the nature of a conservative to be willing to give up what they have to help someone in need. I can tell you from my business experience that conservatives contribute many times more to charity than liberals do. Also, just look at Al Gore - we all know the man is loaded and always has been, yet when he was vice president he only gave $300 to charity in a whole year. His excuse was he had a child in college. The only time liberals make charitable contributions is when they are shamed into it. I am speaking in generalities. There are a few, very few, instances where you might find a generous liberal.

Dan you are so right on. Janet S. with out the government intervention black people would still be owned by white people and working in cotton fields. Do you really believe black people could have achieved what they have today without the help of the government? "DREAM WORLD"
