Barack Obama is not in charge of the production of vaccines... he does not work at the plant, he does not set production goals and schedules, he does not work in project management or forecasting. President of the US? Yes. Production Manager - nope. Pelosi isn't at the vaccine production plant, either.

Harold - who are "you people", Harold? Also, Harold - keep in mind that Obama, too, is a war time president. You expect that GWB should have been given more respect... based on the fact that he was a war time president, who did the best he could with a bad situation - yes? But you can't extend the same courtesy to Obama? Listen - Obama did not start a war in a country based on a series of lies (Iraq)... Obama did not take us into Afghanistan - Obama has been following the strategy set down by GWB and Cheney, before they left office - and yet, you condemn Obama for initially following the GWB/Cheney strategy. Makes no sense to me. (And then Cheney accuses Obama of dithering... when Obama was simply following the strategy Cheney put in place before his term ended...up until is became clear that the strategy wasn't effective and he now has to decide what the next move should be... ) -- Just like blaming Obama for vaccine manufacturers inability to mass produce vaccines quickly makes no sense to me either, Harold.

I think you would say that, Harold, because you have formed an unfortunate habit of finding blame in every issue for Barack Obama. I'm concerned that you really are believing that there isn't a problem or issue out there that can't be blamed somehow on President Obama - and that kind of rigidly directed hostility can't be good for a person's sense of personal well-being.

Harold - how do you figure that President Obama has control over production rates of the vaccines?? "See to it we were protected"?? There is a shortage of vaccines, every single year. And that is somehow the President's fault? Because the title really is; "President of the USA, and Supervisor of flu virus production specs"?? The number of vaccines produced, the speed with which they are produced, is not something that can be directed by the President. Did you know the technology for producing the vaccines is more than 50 years old, Harold? I'm sure that is Obama's fault soemhow, too...
