Bill that is because the south has always been known for their desire to give other cultures no respect, of course unless your white, and not from the north. On my way to Fort Jackson Carolina, to congrats my brother-in-law for making drill sergeant, I was going through the mountains, I ran into a problem with my vehicle and it needed a fuel filter, and I did have one in my vehicle. This was a simple fix, that a pair of pilers would do the trick. I had to pay the guy to use them, attitude and all, now how friendly was that? He even had a comment about Mn, but I was not going to argue with him. One other guy asked me if I was a G-man or something? Bill some people on this site have had an issue with the president, but they are mainly a small percentage, thank God. I can't deal with ignorance but your right, wild accusations, a distaste for the government, and unhappy probably with their lives. Maybe they should move down south, they would be right at home with the other haters.

joe r: The radical, "shoot from the lip", tactics of the far right, is exactly what got them to where they now find themselves, nowhere. If anything they said were true, Obama would not be our commander in chief. If anything they said was true, then why were they thrown out on their you know whats? Is this also a big conspiracy against them? These people are delusional. Obama has skyrocketing approval ratings everywhere but the illiterate slackjaw south. Even in the ultra conservative midwest, his approval ratings are in the 47% area. The angry right are mad because the nut they wanted to run the country got laughed out of the voting booth and we refuse to take them seriously. It is their own doing that we laugh at them. They are just too darned funny to be taken seriously. "Oh feel sorry for me,everyone is against me". "Oh I am so misunderstood". "Life is so unfair". "Oh they are making me pay taxes."Wa Wa Wa. It is hilarious.

Well John maybe they should be a little more clear on what they call the mob. The only mob is the Chicago mob, of course we have the NY mob, and several other families in other cities. The rest are called street gangs. There is a difference in both groups, and Obama is not connected to either one so wouldn't that be the message I wanted to convey?

Cliff the only idiots are the ones who lack knowledge, and that appears to be something you have little of at this point. I can't tell you Lynn how I know what I know, but for Harold to make mindless commments on something he also knows little about, just lets me know about some of the people that are a part of the far right, or the radical right. First off all any involvement of the mob in the whitehouse does not get by the feds, or the CIA, and if Obama had those connections he would not be in the white house, thank you! Those days are gone, if they were even true to begin with. Chicago maybe mob runned but they will not venture into Washington, no matter what some people say. There are four families in the Chicago mob, and the only family with political power is close to the downtown area is the 26th street crew, look it up. Since the family secrets trial in 1997, a ten year investigation into mob relations with city, and government officials, and anyone with those connections were exposed and continue to be exposed and investigated. I had the pleasure of being able to sit there, and listen at one of the family secrets hearings. Pretty interesting, seeing the guy on trial looked like an everyday family neighbor I saw many times. So I did my own research, this was my old neighborhood and the neighborhood of two Chicago mayors I also saw on occassion. I too do not like the fact that any city, or government works, should be controlled by the mob, but believe me, the Feds are all over it, and this was one reason the Illinois governor was indicted. Down the road there could be more, who knows, until they are exposed. None of this will ever touch our president, and others he succeeded, so for people to even suggest that, is foolish, and without any thought whats so ever, other then spite. The mob buys lower level politicians, or buys cops, judges, or city supervisors, but their power to get to higher officials, just doesn't happen anymore as some people think. Having political connections, is different then having mob connections, and there isn't a politician out there who doesn't have some form of political connections. That is fine and dandy, as long as there is nothing illegal going on.

Clifford R: Your anger seems a bit misplaced when one considers the past 8 years of incompetence and runaway spending. Your post reaks of hatred and animosity toward others not sharing your views.I find it quite telling that you are doing exactly what you acuse those on the left of doing.....name calling. Wild accusations of Chicago mobs and the president being a terrorist operative make me think you just might be crazier than Harold. It's almost time for Rush so you had better turn on your radio for 4 more hours of hate radio.

Jon T & Joe R -- I may?? not agree with what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to be idiots. Lie to me, I expect it. Lie to yourself, O.K. I guess? Believe your lies, you got problems pal. Thuggishness is a liberal trademark. All the screaming at the town hall meetings was people trying to be heard while all the thuggishness was libs. trying to shut them down. All the anti-Obama screaming is "we don't like what you're proposing". All the character assination seems to be against anyone who talks conservative. People with morals don't condone lying and all's fair in love and politics. That is exactly what "Chicago, mob run politics" is all about. You never hear conservative people condoning something like killing an abortion doctor, but the liberal talking points are always about these isolated incidents - as if - "you do it, so it's O.K. for us to do any nasty thing we feel like doing". Harold may go overboard in blaming O.B. for everything, but every O.B. action has to make one wonder "is this guy actually an Al-Quida sleeper cell???".

Harold first thing to remember is the mob has nothing to do with Obama. The mob is interested in only what beneifts them, and they benefit from political ties within their perspective territories. The feds are always one step ahead of the mob or one step behind, but they watch the mob very carefully. Harold is so anti Obama he reaches for any article that he can make an anti Obama comment on. Larry I think we have seen enough of the far right looking to control the people, just look at their abortion and gay beliefs. I read today were the radical right is driving moderate Republicans from their party. Just what many of us knew was taking place. The Republicans are shooting themselves in the foot and don't even see it. People like Harold, Larry, and a few more are perfect examples of this. The youth of today are moving more to the liberal side then ever before according to researchers.
