I agree Kevin. It is sad. The whole meaning of the season is gone. So many people find themselves so stressed trying to find their gifts and all the cooking that they don't have time to really understand enjoy what it's all about. Then, if they charged it all, they pay for it until next year or longer. So many buy gifts for people that they would never even give a birthday gift to. What's up with that? So sad.

To me, this is the way it should be. People have gone overboard in their shopping for gifts for people. I like homemade gifts the best, or none at all. Just being together is gift enough and if they want to throw in some homemade cookies, homemade cards or photos, that's enough for me.
