That is so true, Ben. When I first saw the headline for this article, I said, 'No way! A republican wants to raise taxes???' Truly shocking, yet the reality is the revenue to run the state gov't programs has to come from somewhere.

Harold your ignorance is showing on your last comment, as well as your clear hatred for anyone who is not Republican! It was many of the DFL elected officals from Minneapolis who were in opposition to the Twins Stadium. Randy, we should at the very least positively acknowledge that we have people on bothsides of the aisle who see that we need to generate funds in this State, and that the "No Tax Pledge" has done far more harm than good.

What a piranha! She's a jerk, wanting to expand a regressive tax to help out the wealthy.

I like the fact that she is going to let us know about 365 ideas to do. Most never state what they plan to do, they just say, pick me because I'm not that person that did this. I'm looking forward to hearing more about her and what she wants to do. I don't like her idea of taxing clothes. Maybe if it had a dollar amount set so that high end clothing was taxed, but not basic low end clothing. I do know that border clothing businesses will be upset over this because they claim they get a lot of business from states that tax clothing and this will make them stay in their state if we tax clothes.
