I'm sure glad the Christy - Corzine race wasn't close or we'd have seen the same kind of seat stealing we had here in MN in the Coleman - Franken race. Franken ought to man up and resign after the Channel 5 news report last Thursday.

Obama carried N.J. by 17 points. Obama carried Virginia by 5 points. Each had a 20 point swing. Nothing for liberals to worry about. Keep it up.

I remember a few elections ago when the liberals lost big time, they said it was "because they didn't get their message out". No, the problem was that they DID get their message out! Same thing here: the liberals ARE getting their message out, and it is PURE COMMUNISM! Hmmm, and people are looking to get them out of office?? Could it be becuase American's actually ENJOY freedom?? Wow, freedom, what a concept. I can't wait for the next presidential election, when the American people make right a gigantic wrong. I for one don't want to own a car company, or the doctors office, or the dentists office, etc...BHO should run for office in North Korea, they seem to like that kind of government.

That "one little victory straw" the democrats are grasping is the most telling of all the little victory straws. The republican heavy hitters came out in force to win NY-23, and they still lost. Not only did they lose, they were able to further embarrass themselves by throwing one of their few remaining female candidates under the bus. If that is their plan for 2010, the few remaining female puppets of the republican party might finally wise up! The fact that Sara Palin (america's sweetheart) couldn't help muster a win in NY-23 is more of a referendum on the GOP than any victory taken away by the republicans is on BHO.

Randy O. posted "As for Corzine, the Pope couldn't have saved him. It was common knowledge that he had no chance of getting re-elected." If that is what you say and they believed , then how could they be so dumb to run him again? Apparently the Dems common knowledge does not equate common sense.

Well...the important election was the one in NY. Hooray-one more vote for healthcare reform. NJ and Virginia are traditionally GOP states, so this was no big surprise. The NY seat had been held by the GOP for decades. The conservatives who have written comments are not deep thinkers. After all, they have Rush, Glenn and Sean to tell them what to say. Talk about a bunch of sheep! Let me remind you that that Democratic party still has over a year of control of the White House and Congress. Obama will be in office for 3 more years. Better get used to it. I really doubt that Palin, Pawlenty, Gingrich or any other ultra-conservative can beat him. FOUR MORE YEARS to drive the (Republicans) crazy, as if they aren't already almost there.
