I wonder if Brian K is still planning on running for public office?

Brian K: Just for your own education, it is not in the Constitution. The Constitution is a living, working document, which can only be changed by amending, which is subject to interpretation by the Supreme Court. You call the Post Office a "dumb example", is that because it proves Joe's point? Try and deliver a letter from here to N.Y.C. in two days for less than .50. I challenge you. Dumb example, indeed. Using your logic, any example proving you wrong is "dumb". On another topic. I sold frozen pizza to grocers for 14 years and it all tastes like cardboard and ketchup no matter whose label it bears.

Brian K I am referring to your continued attacks on what you call too many government regulations. I could care less if you post when you work or if you have your own lab-top. I am simply saying the regulations you and other right wing nuts whine about, are the line of protection against bad products and contaiminated foods. There are many companies that have no problems compling with the regulations of state, and government, and you people use it as a negative factor, to say the government is hurting corporate America. What you read in regards to the Appleton prison is sometimes spoon fed to the press, but take it from some of us who work there, location did have a concern for prosepctive clients, I know, I heard some of the chatter. I was on SORT and once responsible for transporting Colorado, Idaho, and even the Puerto Ricans. We did a good deal of traveling, and so did the people who boarded inmates with them. Many of the employees who work there travel from other counties including Willmar to work. CCA has a histroy of building prisons in small communities, and you know why? This was cheaper and those small communities welcomed the editional revenue. CCA had hundreds of jails, and prisons throughout the US, including some holding facilities for illegal immigrants who are facing deportation. They seem to compete quite well with the governemnt as well as Wackenhut. CCA has even branched out to California. Brian why is the postal service such a bad example? I know it counters all the bull you and others try to lay on some of us to make your point against government health-care reform. The post office is not failing it is going through what many companies go through during a tough economy. Hey we can say the same for AIG, the banks, Fannie Mae, and Freddy Mac, yet the government helped to bail them out, that evil and nasty bunch responsible for making sure America stays on their feet. Hey Brian I guess you never tasted Homerun inn frozen pizza? If your the best in the world then why have the stores around rural Minnesota stop carrying Homerun inn? They were selling faster then other frozen pizzas, and were by far better Maybe you sell more, but in no way does that make you the best, especially when most frozen pizzas taste about the same. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a Homerun inn frozen pizza, that is if you can find one. They were usually sold out most of the time.

Craig H: I have to agree with you. Nothing these clowns have said, has come true. If it had, we would be talking about President McCain, Senator Coleman and the Republican majority, in Congress. Wouldn't it be nice if all we had to do, was post on this forum, at all hours of the day? It appears as if the only work they do, is avoiding work. They should all get jobs, and get off of their fat you know whats.

Ah ha! It's nice to see yet another example of the extreme right's complete delusion with the majority of this country. While seeing it in print is somewhat sad, it's also comforting to know that they represent such a small fraction of people that they're making themselves virtually irrellevant. Liberals are lazy and don't work... I'd love to see them walk into a school and tell the teachers that, I'd love to see them walk into the Ford plant and tell everyone there the same thing. I'm sure there are some GOP supporters working in those places but at least they're probably reasonable enough to realize what some here just can't seem to get. Bottoms up extreme righters, your meds are here.

Larry, I was going to ask you to drop the work ethic attitude, but after some thought I'd rather you keep claiming Republicans like yourself are the only workers in America. The rest of the folks reading this will know who's full of it and who isn't.

Just in case your wondering, I am using my own pc right now in this response and not my work computer.......so glad you are so concerned. So you admit that you are in favor of these govt actions, please point out in the Consitution where these actions are even legal.....I mean since you are soooooo educated......I'm sure you will be able to show me where it is written. Please stop with the post office thing.....that is such a dumb example....unless you are giving examples of failing programs.

cathy g.........don't tell me what to do Missy....nothing in my reply had anything to do with working in the prison. I simply said, location has nothing to do with the failures listed. Its a prison.....if the state does not use it to its full capablitities....well then there are other issues. I've read your posts....don't talk to me about getting educated. Lets see, our prisions are full everywhere but this one can't survive because of location.......really now? Maybe we should have built this right on the runway at the MSP airport....would that be a better location? There is nothing like having a conversation with someone who follows the crowd....even if that is over a cliff.
