Obama completely denounced the Ft. Hood tragedy, saying no faith justifies what the killer did. He spoke each of the thirteen victims names, and talked about their lives. In no way did Obama justify was was done. As for bowing to another leader, Nixon and Eisenhower did the same. G.W. Bush held hands with a leader. Do you criticize them, too? Obama is not taking control of all of the things you name. He can't. The branches of government, checks and balances do not allow it. Easy to throw around words such as communist and thug. Most people are mature enough to refrain from doing so and would rather debate, as adults, the issues we face as well as potential solutions.

Carie L......I knew that was coming.....blame Bush. Prediction.....he gets off with a slap on the wrist and the blame will be put on Bush for how the information was obtained......very smart. Lets get over the Bush thing, he made mistakes....he was the same as brain dead leader we currently have running the show. I would think getting justice for those that died on 9/11 would be more important than the political show and the attemp to bash Bush. I think the political lemmings need to grow up a little and use "Country First".......instead of who can be a bigger dumb a$$$$.....the Reps or the Dems.......

Gary your not making much sense pal. Calling the president a communist is the same as being racist in my books, because America has been against communism for the last 50 yrs, and making someone as important as the president seem anit-American, all because you don't like the man is either racist behavior or radical? Did you call Paul Wellstone a communist? Also Gary the things Mr Bush and his wonderful VP shotgun Cheney, did sure seemed like third world country stuff to me. Allowing torture, humiliation, and a denial of due process to prisoners. How about spying on Americans, and tapping their phone lines without permission, in the name of terrorism. You see things one way, and I seem them another, but I know what this country was founded on, and what it stands for, and it sure doesn't include the following practices I just named. I could care what color or what culture anyone is, but I do have to wonder about people who have done nothing but attack Obama on everthing he tried to do, and Bush didn't. Its ludirous to blame Obama for the mess created by someone else, then expect him to make good on repairs in 11 months, then bash him and make stupid comments labeling the president as anti-American, and a communist because he is doing what the people have asked of him. The greed, and selfish behavior of corporate America has never been more obvious over the last eight years, and all it did was tear this countries financial stucture apart. Some people say free enterprise is the American way, which I agree, but when free enterprise results in people losing their jobs, benefits and 401k's because some CEO wants to ski behind his second yahct, or go to his multi milliion dollar vacation home especially after taking government bailout money, then something has gone terribly wrong with the principles of this country. When people get turned away from health care facilities because of no medical insurance, then have go on state aid, where people still complain, calling them lazy, and liberals, then things are really screwed up, and seem more radical then anything else!

I think the jury should be chosen from the families of the victims, 4 from each location, I will be fair and partial, Honestly I will. I would make sure justice is served. I would give them the same chance to save there life as they gave the viction on 9/11

I guess I don't know how they are going to find 12 jurors that are impartial?

Brian K - NO - I do not wish them to just be released. I'm not sure where you got that from. I simply stated that federal law is clear - individuals charged with acts of terrorism are to be tried in federal court. I didn't make the law. I also pointed out that some of the techniques used to get information from the man may be considered to be coersion, or information gained under duress... which can effect it's validity in a courtroom - again, I didn't make those rules. You want to be ticked off about that... call up Bush/Cheney and complain about the techniques used to gather information and confessions, methods they authorized, without (apparently) much thought as to how that would work out when those folks came to trial. I didn't create the mess... our leaders did. I certainly wish it weren't so. But, again - I didn't make the laws that relate to these cases... did I? --- And, Sam - I can't speak about what Obama said in 2006... he apparently wished the same thing everyone else does... but, that's not how laws regarding acts of terrorism work.

Why was it that when Paul Wellstone was alive, I wasn't a racist?? I thought he was the biggest dweeb that ever served, but no-one ever called me a racist?? Hmm, maybe the accusers are less than intelligent. What a shock!

Paul, pretty big words from a supporter of the man who has exactly three years left. Minority?? Just wait and see, the American public is well on their way to figuring out what a gigantic mistake this was. Do they have anything other than CNN under the rock you live under?
