Barb no one hates this country, we just hate what we are becoming. Also our constitution is our guidlines but how many times over the last decade has people adhered to the values of the contstitution? Even when we came to America we were welcomed by the native Americans, here, and even kept from starving to death thanks to them, yet we turned against them. Yes we earned our freedom from the British, and we made this country the greatest country in the world, but things have taken a change for the worst. We embrace greed and racsim, and have had to over come the road blocks put in front of us by bigots, and trouble makers. Now we face another enemy yet we don't follow our principles which has been the foundation of our hard work. Torture, humilation and denial of due process is not part of our Constitution. This is not black and white, and there is no going around something we as the people, for the people, built for America. Our own so called politicians have circumvented the constitution while others used it to get rich at the expense of average hard working people. Our Fore Fathers did no intend on seeing CEO's who took plenty of money from the government to fill their pockets, and then claim free enterprise as a crutch for their greed. Barb the constitution seems to have a different meaning for those who are selfish and believe it was written for their own agenda. Seems like the far right love bringing up the constitution which also states all mean are created equal and shall have equal rights, and that all prisoners shall be also treated with dignity as well as having respect for ones religion preferences.

We do live in a great country and we should stand united with our fellow brothers and sisters - Christian, Jewish, Muslim, as well as other faiths. What a great country we live in - free to worship as we believe.

Jon T - It must make for a miserable life to hate this country as much as you do.

It really is a shame to know that there are a lot of citizens who do not understand the Constitution or what our founding fathers intended for this country per the letter refered to by Ms Marcus. It makes me wonder what our schools are teaching instead of accurate American history.

United, we stand; divided, we fall. Only two choices there, and there are plenty of wolves at our doors.
