Most of the people who complain about dogs need something better to do! Dogs take a bad rap for a lot of things. My dogs are in a kennel during the day and in the house at night. I can't tell you how many times I have seen people IN MY YARD tormenting my dogs who are in the kennel! Then they bark. If they bite one of the nasty kids tormenting them, I get sued, how fair is that? Why buy a dog tag? What does the city really do with that money? I refuse to buy dog tags! The city does nothing to help protect my dogs from the brats on the sidewalk!!

Hunters kill animals for the "sport of it". I haven`t heard though of any cats killing sheep lately or attacking and killing any dogs for that matter.

so are cats going to fall under this law also. They kill animals just for the sport of it, but yet cat owners lets them run wild! I've fenced in my dogs so should the cat owners.

What about farmers who have live stock that get out?.... I do agree that everybody needs to be a proper dog owner. When I take my dogs out at night, I can hear lonely dogs from all directions barking away.

It is about time that Kandiyohi Co. passed this law. It is unfortunate that our County Board had to spend its time legislating what should be common sense and common civility and courtesy by animal owners.

I'm surprised by people who think it's not worth their time to get the dog tag required by the city...and yet never get caught. Amazing.
