Chris give it some time, there is much more happeninng on inside that need to get set up before the turbine can go online. Think of it this way, a new house may look liveable on the outside for several months before it is ready for the family to move in.

So let me do the math here - 12 1/2 of these projects would equal what Big Stone II would create for wind. Hmm, coal pollution or wind power? Such a tough choice.

Chris, the 20-MegaWatt wind project in Grant County, Hoffman MN, western MN, took three+ years to get off the ground. In December the 10 towers will be erected. The forms for their foundations are curing as I type this, a 4-week process. Progress can happen in Rural MN - but keep on being a pessimist, the world loves them!
