It was sad to read some of the comments that some Republicans were offering, saying they're glad that another moderate Republican won't be serving in office after the next election.

whether you were the mayor or just a plain ol' neighbor Steve Dille treted everyone with teh same respect. I remember haviong the opportunity to interview him on saturday mornings on KLFD in Litchfield and all you had to do was say "good morning Senator whats going on" and hen the next hur was filled with him taking questions from folks he had helped or that were seeking his help. Dille will be missed due to his senority and willingness to get things done for the right reasons in St.Paul. For those who were fortunate enough to deal with him personally, there isnt enough time or room to tell him how he will be missed. What a gentleman. May you enjoy your time away from St. Paul.
