Anyone consider the notion that the mostly liberal media keeps Palin in the news as a Republican presidential hopeful to demean the party? She has turned out to be an outright moron and I am convinced she devastated McCains hopes for president.

Harold what failures are you talking about? You yourself tried cashing in on the clunkers program, which by the way did fairly well to boast car sales. The Republicans are the kings of fillibusters who do not want the Democrats to suceed, plain and simple. They are the reason why we are still struggling to recover from the economic setbacks because Republicans don't have the same things in common with American voters. Republicans have their own agenda but when you listen to them you would think they had no part in the deficit that was created before Bush left office, and Obama is soley to blame. I guess pumping money into America makes no sense. These are the same spenders who gave the Middle East plenty of US money, as they tried to convince Americans we are going to war for our freedom. Our foreign policy was in the toilet and our main concern was our oil interests in the Middle East as this country was neglected. The flaming far right are the ones who don't tell the truth, and are also the masters of scare tactics. John true journalism to you is whatever Fox writes, and all the propaganda you inhale from oxy Rush which seems to be gold in your eyes. Even though other conservatives have steered away from the likes of Beck and Hannity, true radical disciples of your boy Rush continue trying to hi-jack the Republican party.

Great article Terry. I agree that Sarah Palin's book writing is not noteworthy enough for front page news.

Newspapers are clearly socialist propaganda.

Howard and John, you both love commenting on things you know nothing about - so one year after I took my job, our revenues are up, subscribership is up, profit is up - yep, definitely in a failing business here! Keep on spewing your nonsense, it's working.

You know what John, a funny thing - newspaper editor jobs are open for Republicans and Democrats alike. Republicans are free to sign up and turn in applications for the jobs just like Democrats are. Why don't Republicans want to go into the thankless work of journalism? What are they afraid of? What are they scared of?

Casey O., Sprry, I was not picking on you. I should have put a smiley behind the comment as it has happened to me sometime ago. It was right around the time they were installing a new server or something.

Bob, I didn't repeat my post or stutter. Must be a server episode. I will request one post to be removed. Thanks for the heads up. As you notice, they have the same time...

joe r., I set a trap and you fell for it. The NY state information is correct for the state but it is a federal case. But the hypocrisy of AG Holder regarding the death penalty is correct and you had not one comment on it. Maybe he revised the John Kerry statement - I was against it before I was for it.
