Sorry, Josh, No one would be more disappointed if this story didn't make it on the front page than publicity-hungry Palin. I totally agree that it doesn't belong on the front page it would more appropriately be buried in the comic section.

Wow the intellectuals writing in this morning.... First off, Dan, Randy, Jay, and the all knowing Casey - Like usual you should read the article 3 or 4 times, and then have someone tell you what it says. Terry is not saying that it is not news, what he clearly states is that it is HIS opinion that this is not FRONT PAGE NEWS - you must of missed the MAIN POINT of the article. I would happen to agree with Terry, this is not front page news, and it should be in the latter part of the newspaper. It is said that most of you have no idea that the President was over in China for a very important encounter with President Hu and very little was accomplished. Maybe that should be front page news and the Palin story could come after that. In a local newspaper I would even think that a Football review of the up coming game for NLS would be more prudent. But hey, I am clearly not as smart as the above mentioned people who prefer to jump all over a guy - wrote his opinion on this issue - with faulty assumptions at best.

Ron, those stories were there, but the people in the stories chose to stay quiet and away from the lime light afterwards. Sounds to me like the conservys are mad at Sarah for repeatedly throwing herself on center stage. Why do you all want her hidden away? What's wrong with her getting this FREE publicity to sell her book? I really don't understand where you all are coming from. You're proud of her, yet you don't want anyone to see or read about her? Why?

If she was a illegal or a person of color it would be a different story. Where is the news about the politician who had all the cold cash hidden in his freezer that resulted from illegal activities and his violent threats against the FBI and others who gave him marked bribe money? What about the other politicians who just forgot to pay their taxes? We have over 10% unemployment what a achievement. Why don't you write about how to correct that problem. You could solve that by creating 10 % more gov jobs.

Duane, the comments on here speak the truth. You know, not made up in ones head, not partial truth mixed with a lie, but full truth. I don't see one comment saying otherwise. Dan talks about her choice to write her book and make lots of money. Randy talks about the lies in her book, which the McCain camp backs him on. Jay talks about what she has done in her life, which is in her book, but a longer form. And I talk about how I thought the letter was funny because there are so many magazines dedicated to famous people and Terry is upset about it being in a paper and how his letter is wanting censorship when it come to Sarah.

By the way Terry, there are many, many magazines dedicated to just "celebrities" and their family and their lives, nothing else. You sound like you're embarrassed about Sarah, or jealous.
