As far as the medical industry goes, check out the article on Rice's budget for next year. A 1% return-if all goes well. Not a big profit, and if the hospital makes a profit they turn it back into staff salaries and capital purchases. AND I know I'm going to hear from someone who will tell me how overpaid these people are-Do you want to be taken care of in that situation by someone making minimum wage? How many dedicated professionals are going to work somewhere for low wages after going to school for 4-6 years, along with continuing education that is required to keep your license? Think about it.

Craig H. , this is why you seem to have a fit when someone presents a fact source that does not support your posted comments. In correlation to your last post, are you saying there is a certain percentage of(21% among Democrats) that are, according to you, "the least educated" of the Dems? Are we into my PHD can beat up your PHD? There are a lot of problems within the party you support which you should be paying attention to if you want to continue to have a say in the American way of life per the several Dems politicians who are now spoken out lately. I guess I am one of those reasonable people you mention. I have never said I supported Pailin - I don't hink she is ready to do prime time but you lump us all in your "crazies" group which has proven you wrong time after time. It seems to be a constant post obligation to correct the comments of posters when their own select, favorable sources of information say the opposite or they post thier "own version" of the "facts".

There certainly are some democrats that are unhappy with the current administration but I am certain... CERTAIN... those same dems will never, ever vote for this woman to be president. Never. Most independants would never, ever vote for this woman. Again, if the GOP wants to put her up as their candidate I would welcome it but most reasonably thinking GOP would not want that to happen. Of course, that would mean the reasonable people within the GOP would have to get control of the party back from the extreme crazy that is currently running the party.

Nice spin Bob but I already said she's popular among the GOP base (such as it is). Nobody has claimed she isn't popular among the least educated of the GOP. And by all means, please continue to support her as I'd love to see her as the GOP nominated candidate in 2012! I genuinely would! http://themoderatevoice.com/53831/ignoring-krauthammer-or-aiding-second-coming-palin-predicts-jewish-flocking-to-israel/

Craig H., and Randy O., keep talking about Palin - one about her unpopularity and one "bring her on". Might interest a lot of people might/ probably have to eat crow in the future - "That same ABC poll finds Palin's GOP approval right around 76%, 45% among independents and a surprisingly substantial 21% among Democrats. Among self-described liberals she's seen favorably by a slightly larger 22%, among moderates 38% and among conservatives 60%." Seems likes the Dems are seeing the current Titanic like administration and abandoning ship after nine months. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2009/11/not-that-it-matters-politically-because-shes-a-republican-idiot-and-hes-a-democrat-geniusbut-sarah-palins-poll-numbers-are-c.html :<)
