Juan J, that Sir, was excellent. I was reading your comment in that voice and then I got to the end and laughed out loud. Maybe he fell into a woodchipper and thats why they haven't arrested him.

Maybe the cops don't know what the dentist looks like & that's why no arrest has been made. I think he was kinda funny lookin. Could be in Brainard by now. That's for sure .Oh my. Where? Yeah? Aw geez. Okay, there in a jif. Real good, then. Sound sound like a bad movie.

Your right Marie, but like I stated, people don't just run over a blind person then leave the scene because it was just a simple accident. I can't believe this guy is a dentist, a professional, who lacks human compassion, especially when driving away, and leaving someone lying in the street especially with a disability. Hopefully the evidence will come back soon, and the law can deal with him. Dending how long it was before the cops caught up with the dentist the results will be the same. Anyone involved in an accident that caused injuries or death, will have to submit to a blood test, and when the results come back the State Police, will then move ahead with charges. The blood test will tell authorities what he may have been using, or if he was drinking. The process is a little slow, but pretty accurate, and I am sure authorities want to make sure what evidence if any they can move forward with. The blood test can be more daming then the intoxilizer or a breathalizer in determining time frames, and amounts that may, or may not be in the persons system. Don't worry Kelly, if he was under the influence he will be prosecuted.

Everyone wants a quick resolution James. Kinda like a quick get-away when you run someone over. I can't believe the toxicology results aren't back in yet! Oh, yeah. This happened in Minnesota. Maybe with the spring thaw, the lab will get the blood work done on the dentist.

There is no doubt why he left the scene or maybe never realized he ran over someone, but we can wait until after the investigation is complete. Thank goodness the victim is doing better

Kelly G, The explaination by Laurie K makes alot of sense in answering your questions. It seems we always want a quick resolution to incidents that sometimes require a more thorough, calculated approach.

It is a SHAME that no charges have been filed. If it was truly an "accident" why would the driver leave the scene? Makes no sense what-so-ever. Innocent until proven guilty? Seems to me that if you leave the scene - your guilty!

They are most likely waiting for the results of the toxicology tests to determine appropriate charges.
