I feel it's good to try to help people with addiction BUT they also have to help themselves and if children are involved they are much more important and should not go back to the parent until at least 1 year of sobriety with someone with this long of a history. They need to have consistant love...abuse does not lead to consistant anything.

I agree with both of you. The court system has done no one any favors in this case. The sad thing is that this woman was a nurse and has 4 beautiful young daughters and her life has been reduced to this. Addiction is a powerful thing and has ruined many lives in this situation.

So lets see if I get this 4 previous times caught with drugs. Sentenced to jail, bring drugs in to sell, and cop a plea agreement for having 64 illegal pills on you. Ok guess I really understand our court system now. No wonder we have repeat offenders. Jail is like their work place. And if the courts dont care why would the criminil. Wonderful system we have here.
