bob d., I know your daily mantra told you to say it was a coup but this is what really happened. "The expulsion came on the day Mr. Zelaya had chosen for a referendum on whether to change the constitution to allow him to run for a second term in office. The president pressed ahead with the vote in defiance of Honduras' Supreme Court, which had declared the measure illegal." He tried to shred the Constitution much like being tried in this country.

If you really want an answer to both of these wars or occupations. then President Obama, and his supporters, are going to have to step up, take back his apologies he has given to the Muslim world and challenge the Muslims, who do not want jihad, to shout down those are advocating and practicing jihad. Protest the bombings - how many times do you hear or see the Muslim people protesting the actions? The UN and the NATO nations can send all the troops but the people have to learn and understand what democracy is - much of what you hear Jon T. and bob d. advocate from time to time but reserve application. May take 2 or 3 generations for them to get it but at least someone is suggesting to them there is a better way and a better life as a result of their protest and denunciation. We had our chance in Iran after the last election to aid protesters to those who wanted fair and safe elections but this administration was silent. Same with the support of the elections in Honduras, this administration still supports the dictator thrown out in accordance with the countrie's constitution, and now they do not want to recognize or support the vote of the people - with the ususal Carteresque comment -"the elections were not honest and fair". Hogwash, man up. JMHO.

Cute response Brett. My kind? Good one. You obviously missed the point. The majority of cadets have spent their youth watching the previous administration waste American lives and resources on a war based on lies while ignoring the actual threat. I'm willing to bet the majority spent their 17th year on this planet hoping they would not have to go to war and kill people. That does not change the fact that they will bravely serve our country, they are the best we have to offer, and will always have my respect. To suggest they would be excited at the unfortunate news the President gave, and then to associate their reaction with disdain for the President himself, is ridiculous. Have you checked our losses lately? How many more of these kids are we going to sacrifice? My kind. You must mean the kind that actually cares about human lives.

I'm pretty sure the troop's "body language" was more reflective of their amazement that we are still a war that the previous administration abandoned. Nothing like passing the buck...

Lynn, Israel couldn't do squat without the billions of dollars we US taxpayers give them each year.

Hey Brett who do you think will support us when its time to go to war with another country? Britain does not want to support us, their people are tired of the sandtrap, and the loss of lives. What do you think we will gain going after Iran? We are in deep enough sand as it is, and this country will go broke before anything is solved in the Middle East. Brett why don't you go and enlist if you think we should continue to fight whoever does not agree with us. Brett you want Bush, didn't we have enough of that administration? Bush got us into this mess, or did you have your head buried in the sand? We went to war with Iraq, and hunted down a dictator we once supported, who had nothing to do with 911. Reagan was what we needed at that time, and that was a different era Brett. War and ivasions take money, and no country is going to rush into a war especially with the US after what we jumped into. We are not very well liked, and Obama has is work cut out for him to repair relations in Europe, and even with Russia. So Brett shall we attack any country who is buying uranium? How do you even know Russia and other countries don't already have uranium bomb making plants operating? Do you honestly think a country like Russia will be up front with us? What some of these countries plan to do with their defense is something they will do in secret. Hey keep reading about Accorn, next you will claim they are behind the economic problems in America.

So Lynn, should we put on a cape and fly all over the Middle East going after the bad guys? Are you going to pickup a weapon, and join the fight? You complain about the deficit, and the cost of a the stimulus, yet you think we should continue to go to war with countries who don't agree with us, or are definate. What do you think we are spending now, and will continue to spend? I would rather live in peace, then see my fellow soldiers lose their lives, and this country continue to ignore the basic issues we are facing because we went to war on a lie! We have no money for the things that matter, and this has gone on for almost eight years now. Brett do you even understand the situation we are facing. Are you ready for a holywar? Are you going to pickup a weapon and join the fight Brett? Obama has the tougest choice a president can make, sending men and women into combat, knowing full well some will not return. At least Obama took the time to do the research, and to bring himself to making a conclusion that should never be made in haste. Our commander and chief knows what is going on, and what rhetoric are we taking about Brett? Fill me in since you appear to have all the answers. You have little or no understanding of what we are up against, and I will bet you know little of the reasons we are where we are at. What does ACORN have to do with this? This is another issue you know nothing about, other then hear-say! Your darn right this is a difficult situation, and we are talking about our American soldiers. I don't want some war hungry head hunters playing with the lives of our fighting men and women, and I don't want to see our president rush to judge as we have seen during the last administration. Get a grip Brett. We need a time line for pulling out of the middle East, we don't belong there, and our main objective is Bin Laden, he is the person who was behind 911. No one will give him up, and there will never be stability in the sandtrap, no matter what propaganda is fed to us! We may have to use other measures to get this guy other then losing more soldiers, and spending billions!
