Kevin here are some facts about the census. "The 2010 Census questionnaire will be sent to every housing unit in the country. The person in who fills out the form (Person 1) will provide the household information, including whether the home is rented or owned, and will answer just seven questions about every household member, including himself or herself: •Name. •Sex. •Age/birth date. •Hispanic ethnicity. •Race. •Relationship to the person filling out the form. •Other residence, for example, military or college residence, if they sometimes live at another address." The document that Rep. Bachmann was holding up and opposed to is NOT the Census it is the annual American Community Survey (ACS) Which goes out yearly to very few Americans and it does not hold the same requirements that the Census does i.e. penalty of not filling it out. I urge all people to research this and see for themselves. I also hope that Rep. Bachmann will acknowledge here error and retract he comment with regards to these questions being the Census. For those concerned about the questions you should now that this is the shortest questionaire since the start of the Census, and the questions were approved by the 2007 Congress.

Carie, I think that is a great part of the problem... Her followers lack that important ingredient.

Casey O......wow.....are you kidding me. Personally I think Bachmann is a little over the edge or haning around too much in the deep end.....but....you are putting down her followers for following blindly.....really??? I wonder where else we saw this much blind following of someone?...oh, why yes....I remember who that was now.........

I would still like to know where those Iraqi WMD's are, that she says we found. The only way she could be a danger, is if people took her seriously. Her party has to have a primary, and dump her, before they loose the seat. The people in her district have to be shaking their heads in disbelief.

She wouldn't be starting a paranoid stampede if her followers thought for themselves. I mean really, do they need everything sugar coated so they don't leap off the cliff? She should be able to say her wild things without people over reacting. If her followers just used common sense, they would know some of the things she says are outlandish and not to take them to heart.

I think that that has been her problem all along. She is impulsive and says things without thinking and then needs to say "that's not what I meant" or "Mr.Matthews put words in my mouth". She is passionate in what she believes but doesn't seem to understand that she needs to stick to facts and verify her information before putting it out there and starting a paranoid stampede.

Larry I think she did speak with out thinking with regards to the census comments. She was refering to a totally different document but her comments raised fear and anxiety in many. There is no long form with regards to the Census. Why has she not retracted that?

I really tried. I could not find one thing that she has done for her district. I did find that she is doing an interview on TV on average, every 9 days.
