Brett why do you do that? I am not trying to argue I would really like to understand what makes Bachmann a good choice. I would like to know why people would elect her. Oh and for the record I voted for Norm over Franken.

Bachmann, for many reasons, is a big embarrassment to this state. My theory is she was only elected because the 6th is a hugely conservative district -- certainly not because of any great intelligence or common sense.

She lies so much. So promised healthcare talks on c- span 8 times. Said there is no red or blue states only the United states. Promised unemployment would not go over 8% after passing a bill worth 876 billion dollars without interest. Said no lobbiest . No earmarks. Would cut waste. No aboration in the healthcare or illeagals. Said she really likes a small govt.. Said this would be the most open White house. Opps maybe its somebody else that should recalled.

Her statements have been posted here many times..Besides the filling out the census forms will end up sending people to internment camps much as the Japanese were during world war ii; Her wanting Minnesotans "armed and dangerous" regarding the health care issue; Saying "revolution is a good thing" and spurring people on to revolution. ANd by not answering the questions on the census form as she urged, Minnesota stands to lose federal money as well as probably a House seat..please let it be hers!

It's amazing to hear such dribble coming from the likes of St Cloud and the writer of this idiotic article. Representative Bachmann's justification was stated on the floor of the House many months ago, if you paid attention. Her refusal to answer those questions were based on Constitutional grounds. There is no Constitutional authority to compell any citizen to disclose the kind of information that was required by the census. It's as clear as that.

She seems to have some people mesmerized. She can say crazy stuff and lie through her teeth and they'll still defend her vigorously. Must be that smile....gets them all giddy.
