I agree, extremes on both sides seldom give a darn about the majority because they are only thinking about themselves.

Larry you listed in your post of 7:33 AM a couple of other organzations one being the KKK. You are not suggesting that KKK is a left leaning organzation are you? And certainly you are not suggesting that they do "good things"?

The problem here is that because an organization "leans left or right" doesn't discount the fact that they do good. You need to keep your mind open. The LWV has been around for a very long time and has never ,that I am aware of, been accused of being partisan.

Groups, like the Sierra Club, AARP, Public Citizen and United Nations typically lean very left. What about the “tea party”? Welcomed?

Guys when did you ever see LWV endorse a candidate? This organzation stands for democracy first, and frankly it is a bit troubling that you take exception to that.

Actually Larry the organization is non-partisan, and while Flo holds strong beliefs she is actually a person who holds democracy higher and is respectful towards those who hold different opinions especially when it comes to League activities. I think if you check you will find both parties connected with the LWV.
