You conservatives are a strange, sad bunch, so if we have this endless supply of oil, that means we should use it? You don't think that tailpipe emissions from autos has an effect on our health in general? Automakers are finally getting around to bringing us better gas mileage, better engineering - in spite of your strange, sad comments that have no basis on what's best for the human race. A 2010 Chevy Equinox, 32 mpg highway - that's progress. I pity all of you.

The predictions by some scientists say that crude oil, natural gas and easily mined coal will be mostly gone in 30 to 40 years. They have been saying this for 30 to 40 years. Yet,we keep finding more. Ice ages have come and gone well before humans were on earth. Yes we need to be good stewards of the planet. No we do not need to raise prices so only the wealthy can afford to use energy.
