I believe anyone putting in twenty or thrity years deserve a pension and most companies should have one. You people are probably earning your pension or you didn't work long enough to get one, which is why you make it a negative factor. Brett tell me why 60 is wrong? That is two less years then we have now, and facts state that there are many people who have medical conditions by the time they retire. Especially if its manual labor, or the labor that cause serious health problems for some workers after twenty years. You people seem to have a problem with people collecting SS, and medicare. I am sure people like Brett and John would be the first ones at the window when they turn 62, if they are not drawing it already! I find the hypocrites complain the most, but use just as much of the resources afforded to Americans. John stop blaming the libs for these programs, because many people were for them, and they have given many Americans a security level that some need in life. Are you upset because maybe libs thought of these programs, or you feel you didn't earn enough to draw a pension?

Raising the retirement age does not make this attractive meaning many more people will work until they are either disabled or dead. As it is American workers are the most worked society in the world with little vacation. Federal employees do get more benefits and can retire after twenty years with a full pension but many private corporations including county employees have to put in 30 yrs. Even state employees put in twenty but many work much more due to debit, and the rising cost of inflation. Retirement SS should start at 60, and Medicare should kick in at 62, allowing many employees to enjoy their retirement life. I am seeing more and more people over 55 in the work force, and some will probably work until they die. Not a very attractive venture to raise retirement age.

So much for a simplified tax return. It only took a few sentences before you started talking about refundable tax credits.
