Ben C. and joe r., calm down a little bit before you start accusing people. The original bill passed thru the state House and state Senate and was vetoed by the Governor. Rather than try to overide a veto, which failed in the State House, the State Senate is rewriting a compromise bill after negotiations with the Governor. The only part I have concern for, while the PR has said the bill is paid for , the "paying for" is being done by lower reimbursement payments to the providors. Locally, it will be a hit to the revenues of rural hospitals, clinics, and doctors which will be hard to absorb in these economic times. If you read the article, great, it is informative but if you read the posts there seems to be a confusion between state healthcare bills and federal healthcare bills.

I agree Ben, Harold is a bold face liar, and this is not the first time he has lied or misrepresented the facts.

By the way Harold the sign that I quoted is the the lawn of a STRONG GOP SUPPORTER! So if you think that comment is an example of "DFL mud slinging, negative PR," well you can think again.

Harold .....What?? Mud slinging? Please show me where you are getting that, oh I suppose my hands are dirty from calling you a person who hates and wants a dictatorship, but buddy hold a mirror to your face the next time you want to accuse someone of mud slinging. Harold the Bill has NOT Passed and you can ask anyone about that fact! I shared what exactly happened on Legistlative Review radio show that was on the air this morning on KWLM. You are lying Harold you are a bold face liar! You are purposely trying to mislead people with your lies. You want to challenge my facts, call KWLM and ask if they have a recording or transcripts from this morning show.

Ben There your at it again with the DFL mud slinging, negative PR, etc. in your last post about who will support a Senate Bill that has PASSED(now had you started your baloney stuff, before it was passed , different story, but you refused) My comment. Ben , when will you ever let go?---note didn't 100% of the Senators vote and make it a legal BILL. With all the dirty tricks of the PARTY(with you help, I would say) in control (pogemiller and killeher), what more can we Minnesotans expect?

Liberals want to give the poor food, take them to the vet, and never demand they do anything for themselves. They treat the poor like pets, in other words

Harold according to KWLM this morning Republicans Gimse and Urdahl will also support this plan. Both men agree with the DFL leaders that it is not the best nor is it the worst. My comment, Harold get off your hatefilled dictatorship bandwagon this is America and we are democracy as the the sign on the eastside of Willmar says Harold, "America Love It Or Leave It." The choice is yours Harold.

Hey Harold, let's give these 30,000 vulnerable people the Republican plan. You know, the one that says they should take care of their own insurance and be self-sufficient. Giving them government coverage just encourages them to stay vulnerable-right? So what if they get sick and die- it's their own fault- right, Harold? We can't afford to pay for their health care because it will increase the deficit and burden our grandchildren. Glenn Beck says we should just let the lions eat these poor, vulnerable people. That's the Republican way- be a heartless conservative- right, Harold?

DFLer Sen Bergin EXPECTS there will be enough votes in the Mn. Senate to pass it. My Gosh Lady, enough votes to pass it!!!, about 90% of the Senate members are DFLers. and Sen. Bergin as you know, only 51% are needed to pass the Bill, 30% could take a nap while vote is counted and it would still pass. My comment. DFLers Lay off the PR baloney, your not fooling anyone.
