The United States has the most expensive health care in the world. The high cost of prescription drugs, ex-rays, medical procedures, and administrative costs have drove the price of heath-care through the roof. The US is the only country beside Africa that does not provide health care for all its citizens. Wow, yet the right continue to say government health-care is not the answer, as we continue to hear about the health insurance companies rewarding their CEO's with millions in bonuses. Where is the justice in this, because I am waiting for the answer? Medicare can have serious gaps in coverage and as health insurance continues to rise, it is leaving employers no choice but to drop the coverage they offer, which forces workers to find altenative health care on their own. The hypocrisy of the health insurance companies is evident, yet those on the right don't mention any of the ills associated with private health-care. The fear is being planted, and we are told that with government health care reform we can't afford it. So what do you think is going on now? The American college of physicans, and the society of internal medicine state that Americans without health care tend to live sicker, and die younger, and that is a fact. There are those without health-care who are treated at our hospitals and the money amount for those uninsured, is spread to those who have private health care in monthly premiums, and this also effects the tax payers. Government health care can work for millions and eventually lower the high cost of private health care especially if they have to compete with the government.

Martin Luther King once stated, "of all forms of inequailty, injustice in health care is the most shocking, and most inhumane". There are 42.5 million Americans without health-care, and as someone who was once without any health insurance for over 15 years, its evident that employers, and working Americans strive for affordable health care. Why is it so wrong for the government to compete with the private sector? Do you really think Americans without health care are going to worry about what doctor they are going to see? Is our health care system the best in the world or the most expensive? We all know by the data that it is one of the most expensive, and can be the most selective. Some people who pay for their own health care are paying one third of their income, yet insurance companies are continuing to raise rates. Insurance companies can deny, or reject someone who might develop a long term illness, where the government will continue to care for those people with the reform package. Now those on the right accuse the reform plan to be nothing more then more handouts, yet those without health insurance that are suffering with health problems, are continuing to be ignored. Some elderly choose between buying prescription drugs, or going without food or heat. The poor go without because they don't make enough on the job to purchase health-care, even if their employer may offer it. This boils down to the haves or the have nots.

Bob........HERE IS THE ENTIRE QUOTE.......DON'T JUST PICK OUT WHAT YOU WANT TO PICK OUT........."I'm sure you won't be able to handle this but do you remember in the other topic board when I proposed a pretty good solution to the illegal immigration problem we have.....well bobby, that was my proposed solution for the problem but do you know what my personal opinion is on the subject? Take a guess....personally I think they should go door to door and round up every single person that does not belong in the country and throw them outa here......but see, normally non Lemmings such as myself, are able to determine what is the right thing to do and come up with appropriate solutions. If you did not read my plan in the other post....well maybe someone on here can provide you a link to it....after all, it is about the best proposed solution to date.".......SEE, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY PROPOSED SOLUTION AND WHAT I FEEL THEY SHOULD DO....BUT I WOULDN'T EXPECT YOU TO UNDERSTAND......

This from the Democraticunderground.co during the last presidential campaign. Mon Feb-18-08 07:36 AM Can’t pin NAFTA on Bush EDITOR: I watched Hillary’s speech from Lordstown, and I think she should have saved that performance for an airplane, where barf bags are plentiful. Who does she think she’s fooling? She had the audacity to blame George Bush for “ Chinese steel coming here and our jobs going there.” Maybe she forgot that it was her husband who signed the NAFTA agreement, not George W. Bush. Remember the warning about “that giant sucking sound would be the sound of American jobs heading elsewhere?” Bill didn’t get it. And evidently Hillary didn’t either. All of you who have a loved one who lost his or her job to Mexico, China, India and elsewhere can thank your pals the Clinton’s. Look, I know that President Bush has done a lot of damage to this country and generally has been an embarrassment to the nation. But I find Hillary’s audacity in blaming President Bush for her own husband’s screw-ups offensive. I bet he would find bob d's excuses offensive too.

bob d.....seriously, you can't be that dumb....read the entire posts before responding. So bob, I put out a full plan.....AND IT DOESN'T INVOLVE GOING DOOR TO DOOR......that is not in my plan......try to understand this and quit quoting false "partial" statements. I certainly would like to see some of your plans........come on.....I put out a health care plan, a insurance plan, and a immigration plan.......just once lets here a solution rather than your normal crying......lets here the Bobby plans......I'm pretty certain you can't do that now can you....the talking points won't help you on this....you have to think for yourself on this?????

bob d if Buffet and Gates don't need it let them prove it by giving it back. It is very simple to do. You can even send them extra too bobby. But then you wouldn't be a liberal, liberals only give away other peoples money.
