Gee Mike, your house must be a mess. Apparently you can't tell the difference between your toilet and your firearms. And Matthew, about ten years ago a one man was given probation which required him to attend college. It happened once. Just so you know, your comment is not clever or witty, just trite, worn-out and doesn't have much basis in fact.

The SKS's basic design may not meet the critieria of being labeled an 'assault rifle', but with modifications, it could? Why would anyone want to carry around an SKS for 'protection'....its not as if he could hide it in his waistband or under his pillow. And 19 grams of meth for personal use? That seems like a lot of meth....how much do people use at a time? Do they smoke it, snort it, shoot it, or ??? Is it powder or a liquid? Its one of those things that most people really don't know much about....thank goodness!

Either way, Dick, this guy is not the type of guy you want running around town with any gun. A meth tweaker, with a gun and a violent past is not a good combo. The cops got him wrangled, now let's see if the courts can do their job...

An SKS is NOT an assault rifle, under either Minnesota or Federal law. It's just a semiautomatic rifle, No need to embelish the story....
