As I have said elsewhere Ben C, nobody owes you an answer on anything. I do not accept your ridiculous challenge as you call it. But let me tell you this. My father was employed by the Willmar Public School system for close 30 years, was a member of the Willmar Education Association and in fact was at times an officer and a past president of the union. He would often tell me about the union and its political activities. They would encourage union members to block vote to elect specific school board members to influence the makeup of the board and therefore school board policy. Now go back and read the post Ben, I didn’t say the school board supported the NEA, I said I didn’t. That would make it pretty hard for me to get any votes from the education unions now wouldn’t it Ben. Do you realize how many votes the union can control? Do you really think the union does nothing but negotiate salaries Ben. Give me a Break.

Rick no messing around this time, I CHALLENGE YOU, Contact each member of the Willmar School Board and ask them if they are influenced by the Teachers Union. I bet you don't have the guts to back up your LIE by taking the time to actually talk to these people. I will give you 48 hours and then I will call each of them myself just to make it fair. Come on Rick be a man of integrety!

Ben if you don't think the teachers unions greatly influence school board elections then there is no sense even talking to you. You are a lib through and through.

So Rick are you suggesting that our School Board Members are supporters of the NEA? Are you claiming that they are bias towards issues brought forward by the union? Wow Rick have you ever asked one of the 7 members of the Willmar Board of Education if this is true? You must have if you know that they are supporters of the NEA.

Ben you are correct but I would expect there to be carry over. I only have experience/knowledge (other than my 12 yrs at WSH) with 9-12, and a little bit about special ed because of past work experience and a child we know who is in the program. It might be just a little hard to get elected when you support Christian Schools, Home Schooling, and don't support the NEA.

Rick in another post you said that you were now sending your kids to the public schools I thought? You spoke as one who knows what is going on in schools, but know you say that your children don't attend a public school?

Ben, Why not yours? I think people tend to frown on people running for the public school board when they chose to send their kids to CCS. But who knows i could be wrong.

I'm sorry Rick you were so quick to defend Sue that I figured you agreed with her, especially since she took my point out of context completely, and ignored that point that the schools have been cutting for years. You can find that information out Rick by either talking to your School Board or perhaps we will see your name along with Sue's on the ballot this year.

Ben are you cracked? Where in any of my posts did you see a criticism of the school board or the administration? I said this situation needs further investigation. I guess that is a big slam! You can't even defend your own post with an example. Go to bed Ben, see you tomorrow.
