to early to tell roger t. I don't think that they were voted out just because of party affiliation. It had to do with many constituents not feeling that he was representing them anymore.

At least Pogemiller and Kelleher support education, support transportation funding, support aid to local gov., support nursing homes, support labor and the common, blue collar workers, support health care for the downtrodden and destitute, support stewardship of our natural resources and the list goes on and on and on... Yes, I'll surely send Al back to St. Paul. He's not the problem. The biggest problem the last several years has been the governor. He's done more to hurt Minnesota than practically anyone in our state's history. No new tax pledge but than raise every fee imaginable.

Ben I want to take control away from the liberal caucuses. If that mean Al';s seniority goes by the way side so be it.

Rick seriously you want to give up the seniority that comes with Juhnke for what? We have a moderate voice representing us, would it not make sense to send him back and encourage other districts to send similar voices to St. Paul to challenge not only those you mention but also those from the other party who pull in the other direction. I guess Rick I have to disagree with your logic on this.

The reason to not re-elect Al is to give control of the house back to Republicans. If you want Pogemiller and Kelleher to continue telling rural MN what to do than by all means keep sending DFLers to St Paul.

Ben - great points. The letter writer obviously is purely partisan, doesn't like Rep. Juhnke, and doesn't really know what she is talking about. One would be hard-pressed to find anyone who does a better job representing his district than Rep. Juhnke. He will be in office for as long as he wants. He is pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-guns - so the far right cannot go after him on these issues. He is a common sense, moderate legislator who serves us well and is good for our district.

I really don't understand how the writer is coming to her conclusion? You are upset with Rep. Juhnke for doing his job and representing us? He got up and challenged his own party for their failure in funding a Vets. Home out here but instead give money to new plan of an addition to a home in Minneapolis. He, with the support of many Republicans, challenged the logic of funding an unneeded Volleyball Center addition in Rochester. Ms. Heidecker where was our Senator on these issues? Why was he not standing on the floor of the Senate calling for the bill to go back to committee and challenging the opposition in the same way that Rep. Juhnke challenged his own party? Further more, in the end it was the Governor who took the control of this bonding bill and he alone decided what got money and what didn't. Under his control Willmar also lost the promised funding for Ridgewater College, but the good people of Rochester got to keep their Volleyball Center addition!!
