Look at the bright side. With Joe Gimse in office, there has not been one gay marriage in the state of Minnesota. Of course there never was and never could have been with Dean Johnson in office. The district gave up the senate majority leader and a powerful voice for outstate Minnesota because of homophobia idiots, and now outstate Minnesota has to suffer. You get what you vote for.

Luke I will let you know if the paper ever tells the truth without its liberal spin. BTW the original letter submitted uses the word Editor, not newspaper. Ben since you are here today, what did Al's seniority get us? Did it make any difference to the politicos in St Paul, I think not. You libs missed the crux of the letter. From here on it is metro vs rural, not just liberal vs conservative. Get used to liking the "bones" metro politicians will throw us.

Ben, The differance as I see it is: The letter about Sen. Gimse was a editorial peice, the letter about Rep. Junhke was a letter to the editor written by an average tax payer.( Not a Republican spokesman like Rep Junhke has lead you to believe.) Fair and Balanced ? I think not!

The same day was printed what some would call a petty and partisan letter to the editor attacking Rep. Juhnke. Seems to me that the paper that day was pretty much fair and balanced.

Why is the paper liberal whenever it disagrees with those on the far right? Is it too conservative when it agrees with them? Is it wrong when it endorses Democrats but right when it endorses Republicans? The author is a purely partisan, very conservative, far right, Republican activist. Of course he's not going to be happy when the paper criticizes one of his own. It must hurt even more when the paper speaks the truth.
